02 Common Questions
Do you work outside of Florida?

Yes. Eric F. Trillas, PE is licensed in 26 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, and our forensic practice regularly takes us across the country. If your project is in a state we’re not yet licensed in, ask — reciprocity is often quick.

How fast can you turn around a proposal?

For most projects and claims, you’ll have a written scope and fee within a few days of our first conversation. Rush assignments happen all the time in this business; say so and we’ll tell you what’s realistic.

Can you handle the whole building, not just structure?

That’s the point of the firm. Structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design under one roof, from schematic design through construction, so you’re not coordinating three consultants to get one building done.

Will your forensic report hold up in litigation?

Our evaluations document cause of damage and scope of repair with the detail that insurance carriers, opposing experts, and courts expect. Every report is prepared to be defensible, because many of them end up needing to be.
