Carolina Flatz

A pre-loss inspection six months before the hailstorm gave this claim what most never have: a documented before. TCE built the after, test square by test square.

The Problem

Five apartment buildings with roofs of different ages — one barely a year old, others fifteen — took radar-verified hail. Each building needed its own evaluation, and the directional evidence had to match the storm physics.

What TCE Did

  • Evaluated all five buildings individually — separate aerial histories, wind models, and impact surveys per building
  • Corroborated causation directionally: south/west slope concentrations matching the storm’s northeast track, 35 HVAC condensers documented
  • Ran every figure through a source-fact table and QA gate process — each number traceable to a cited source
