When hail punches clean through a metal roof, the argument is over — if the documentation is airtight. TCE made it airtight.

The Problem

A steel-framed manufacturing facility took 1.75-inch hail with gusts to 56 mph. The evaluation had to fix the pre-loss condition precisely and correct a mischaracterization of the roof geometry that shaped the claim.

What TCE Did

  • Documented hail penetrations of the through-fastened Galvalume panels and corrected the record: a 3:12 gabled roof, not a low-slope
  • Locked the timeline with aerial imagery four days either side of the loss date
  • Delivered a 39-page SDER with NOAA storm-events history for the decade surrounding the loss
