Shamron Beach Condominium

After Ian flooded the ground floor, TCE did both jobs: documented what the storm did, then redesigned the building systems so it can’t happen again.

Fort Myers Beach, FL · Forensic + Resiliency Engineer · Condo Association

Beachfront association
Shamron Beach Condominium

The Problem

Hurricane Ian’s surge inundated the ground floor, taking the electrical, fire-alarm, and pump systems that sat below the base flood elevation. The association needed the loss documented — and needed the rebuilt systems out of harm’s way.

What TCE Did

  • Performed the forensic field campaign — drone, roof, interior, and moisture-mapping documentation by inspection team
  • Engineered the MEP repair-and-resiliency redesign relocating flood-vulnerable systems above base flood elevation
  • Designed standby generation (100–130 kW) with transfer switching and code-compliant equipment mounting
