Tunica County Facilities

When a February freeze hit an entire county’s building portfolio, one report wasn’t enough — seventeen facilities, two report phases, eleven photo appendices.

The Problem

The February 2021 winter storm damaged buildings across a Mississippi county’s entire portfolio — courthouse, justice complex, library, fire station, recreation centers, and more — and the claim went to formal insurance appraisal, where every building needed its own defensible record.

What TCE Did

  • Evaluated the county’s facilities in two phases — six buildings in the base SDER, eleven more in the addendum
  • Produced building-specific photo appendices and breakdown schedules keyed to the claim’s multi-location structure
  • Supported the appraisal process opposite the carrier’s per-building engineering reports
